1/18th scale hand painted resin figure of John Arthur Brabham, aka Jack Brabham.
Australian driver born in 1926. Jack Brabham was three times Formula One World Champion in 1959, 1960 and 1966.
He set up his own racing team, Brabham Racing Organisation, to run cars designed and built by his car manufacturing company, Motor Racing Development Ltd.
In 1966 he became the first car manufacturer to win a World Drivers' and Manufacturers' Championship.
He worked with all the racing champions of the 1960s (Jochen Rindt, Jim Clark, Jochen Rindt, Graham Hill...) and took part in some of the world's finest racing events. He retired as a driver at the end of the 1970 season.
He took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the third time in his career in 1970 at the wheel of the Matra MS650 n°32 associated with François Cévert, just before retiring from racing.
