The Tripartie Minehunters (CMT) have been in service since 1984. The result of a successful cooperation between France, the Netherlands and Belgium, forty vessels have been built, thirteen of which are armed by the French Navy.

Mine hunting has replaced sweeping by a meticulous exploration of the seabed combining sonar and clearance divers, with humans remaining the ultimate means of classification. These minehunters are particularly sophisticated vessels, modernised but whose replacement is the subject of multiple studies and tests.

This 192-page book will be illustrated with more than 300 photos, maps and diagrams.
