A legendary vehicle, the Berliet T 100 remains in everyone's memory, as it marked its era. Designed in just nine months and in the greatest secrecy, it was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1957. The success it achieved there was astonishing. But can we still talk about a truck when we talk about this unusual vehicle? Closely associated with the major national oil research project in the dunes of the great Algerian Erg, he quickly became the standard bearer of an entire country, of an entire people. Only four T 100s were built and today only one perpetuates the memory. T 100 No. 2, magnificently restored, is now enjoying a well-deserved rest at the Marius Berliet Automobile Foundation.
